Hunt the large mule deer.If you're looking for a real nice mule deer hunt, with some opportunity for harvesting an elk, we've got just the thing for you. This is a backcountry tent camp located in Area 520 nestled at the base of Iron Mountain on Castle Creek, near Nye, Montana.

The hunt runs seven days, one day each to ride in and out of camp, and five full days of hunting. Comfortable cots in canvas tents, dutch oven cooking at it's finest; this is the way to "rough it" in comfort.

If you have an elk license there is no additional charge to hunt elk while you're looking for your big Muley Buck! We have a 2 to 1 guide ratio and those guides will work hard to make your hunt a success and a great memory.

In this mountainous country, weather can range from pleasantly warm to snowy blizzards. Be prepared to dress in layers with waterproof boots & outer wear.

Out-of-state license applications may be obtained by writing to the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Helena, MT 59601 or visiting their website at www.fwp.state.mt.us. We can help you obtain a license. Please contact us early. Licenses sell on March 15.
